Hello all,

So this weekend was a whirlwind of interesting weddingness...as most of you know one of my bestest friends Renee got married this Saturday. And yes it is Sunday and I am writing from the VA call room.

It all started on Friday with the rehearsal (which I was ten minutest late to because of insane Houston traffic...and the bride was twenty minutes late too!!). The rehearsal was fine, except for the fact I did not really come out of it grasping when I was supposed to stand up or sit down. It was a catholic wedding and there was a certain time for me to take the bouquet from the bride, and a certain time to give it back...and certain pauses where it might be appropriate for me to arrange the bride's train. I did not really comprehened those pauses as the priest ran through with an explanation that went something like this:

"So then I will say 'such and such...Christian church...that is of course your cue to stand up and step forward.' Then we will have prayers, x, y, and z, then I will say 'Christian community', maid of honor that's your cue to get the flowers. Then I will say 'God be with you' and that of course maid of honor means give the flowers back.....

let's just say i was a little worried.

from the rehearsal we went to dinner at Bank which is at Hotel Icon where the wedding was taking palce. the dinner was very nice and I had really tasty food including these gingerbread ice cream sandwiches with apricot sorbet yum yum. Ya'll know how happy that made me.
