Better and Better

Well, things are looking up. I went in search of coffee and not only found coffee provided by the VA with breakfast for the residents BUT also found a coffee stained invitation to the 6th Annual BBQ Cook Off. Which according to the invitation I am now invited to!

It is highly amusing. I am going to do my best to clear my schedule this morning, because at 10:30 am Entertainment begins (with in purple bold letters) a Tina Turner Impersonator.
I am so excited. Really, pager or no pager coverage, I may have to go out there and sneak a peek at this.

Serendipitous things always happen in search of coffee. Take my word for it.

On a slightly more pathetic note, I heard voices outside of my call room and I got all excited because I was like people! even residents I have never met before! and found the food service people there to take away breakfast. That is just how sad I am. They looked at me and I looked at them, and I pretended I wanted more coffee to explain my sudden burst in to the common room.

Adios for now.

Back at the VA

Ok, that might become the title of a lot of my entries, as being on call here tends to make me take care of internet business. There is this big barbeque cook out happening outside here at the VA...but I am not sure if the pagers work in the parking lot. They should, right?

ok I am feeling lethargic and hypoglycemic. will go in search of coffee and return.

My weak attempt to stay in touch with the rest of the world as I progress through residency....

AND for some reason the VA hasn't blocked this site yet.

It's funny I think about things all the time I want to share with my friends, but the moment passes, and I come home tired (or as is the case lately, shell-shocked) and nothing ever
