Yes two posts in one day.
I am just that bored. I decided to update my free form list of things I look forward to. If you remember my previous post (no I am not as cool as Gonzo and I don't know how to link it here ;)) this last month of intern year was on it.
Here goes:
HPs still at the top. Unfortunately, cannot watch HP movie until Doha comes back to Egypt due to a binding vow. If I break it, maybe pustules will break out all over my body or something (doha didn't that happen in one of the books...I am sure you know too much about this.)
Shoe sale. Still pending.
Having money to buy shoes at the shoe sale.
Waiting for blemishes from former pimples to fade. Quite exasperating.
Getting my teeth whitened (indefinite time period.)
Being at Menninger next month.
My next birthday (I don't care Gigi, I CAN think about it this early if I want to.)
Going to the Keith Urban concert on July 5th (which I don't have tickets to and feel too cheap to buy tickets to...sigh. will continue to ponder as tickets get more expensive...yet somehow I insist on looking forward to it.)
Falling in love. (yes still on my list. SIGH.)
the third book of that dorky vampire trilogy I borrowed from Doha to come out. (yes doha, I am a teeny bopper, mock me if you will).
not having random pieces of furniture thrown around my apartment
the good news is I just cleaned my bathroom. Otherwise, having a spick-and-span bathroom would be on this list. (mind you, the actual cleaning process will never be on this list)
Playing travel scrabble. (no pressure G :))
Hana making me another marvelous dessert (rather demanding of me considering you just cooked dinner....but I don't care..haha..)
Gilmore girls DVD coming out in December. Must remember to preorder.
On that note, finding another TV show I actually like. Now that both judging amy and gilmore girls have been taken away from me....

well it's quite amazing b/c you did exactly what i was going to recommend in response to yesterday's blog: you used that extra morning time wisely to write nice long entries - 3! i'm going to be perfectly frank, though, and admit that the entries about your fascinating world of doctoring are generally more interesting but that bit about changing clothes to mop the kitchen floor was nice and revealing.
which vampire trilogy? [full disclosure in these things, please - don't be coy.]
am glad i made your list, finally. won't mind that am right at the bottom (ie, barely in).
as for HP, i'm excited, too. will be a joyous day when ole Dumbledore comes back to life.

so, I would like to say how Frieda is demanding dessert from me a good 12 hours after I made her dinner AND DESSERT! But, I guess my dessert wasn't good enough... whatever I'll go dry my tears now. (that was my dramatic homage to Doha). Otherwise I am glad to have made it on your list too. And, I too look forward to visiting Miami and Las Vegas because you can't go without me. And I also look forward to the day when you no longer have random furniture in your living room...although it is kind of funny. I am also glad that Rasha found a name because there were too many anonimi on this page. It was too much work trying to figure out who everyone was. And, I like both the medicine and non medicine blogs...I am indifferent.
FRom your skin comment on your list I thought you would like to know the fascinating things I have learned on derm. Accutane fixes all of lifes problems (well, at least acne and oily skin)and thus I'm giving it a try. And, those dark spots you get on your skin after scars, insect bites, acne, etc. are called postinflammatory hyperpigmentation and they don't go away for 10-15 years and there is nothing you can do about it.
Now, I am just trying to make my entry longer than Nadia's...I really have nothing left to say.

teeth whitening reminds me of our washington trip, where molly had a heartattack when the people confiscated her crest whitestrips from her. god knows what we're going to do with that on the plane, probably blind someone

hmm. no i dont think your non-medicine life is at all boring - just that the stories you've posted on your rotations at the VA involve leaping out from behind plants to catch your patients acting totally normal and even the best long list of things you look forward to cannot be that. see?

ps. visiting miami will probably have to wait until i find my way around the city -- right now, all i can do is get to walmart. (and it's exactly the same as every other walmart i've been to...except here they speak espanol)
