The more time you have...
the more lethargic you get. Or at least this is my experience. I am on the pedi-dev month which is supposed to be one of the nicest months of the year. I only have 5 ER shifts the whole month. Nothing overnight.
Hmmm. So why am I not bouncing for joy? Well, I spend a good bit of time in the NICU. Little sick babies scare me. They cry (not smile.) They are sick. I feel mean when I examine them and make them cry.
In addition, instead of doing exciting things with my spare time, I now sleep about 9 hours a night. Which you would think makes me peppy during the day.
Nope. Lethargy continues.
